At Millers we are all about embracing positive change to build a better future

As one of Australia’s largest fashion retailers, Noni B Group is consistently embracing positive change to build a better future.

We know that there is still a lot of work to do and that creating a positive change takes time but we are committed to taking every available step in the right direction.

We recognise the responsibility to fully understand the impacts of our organisation – from working conditions in the supply chain to the environmental impacts of our packaging.

We are committed to fulfilling our social and environmental responsibilities.

Our social & environmental responsibility focuses on, but is not limited to, these three pillars:

Social & Environmental Responsibility

WE'RE COMMITTED TO ETHICAL TRADING

Noni B Group Ltd considers ethical sourcing of product as a non-negotiable across all brands.

The Group has a full time dedicated team focused on sourcing, production, procurement and ethical compliance. As part of our corporate responsibility program we require our suppliers to share and uphold a high standard of ethical practice.

All products are ethically sourced and suppliers are audited by an independent 3rd party to ensure the high standards required by the group are achieved.

All suppliers engaged meet and comply with the Ethical Trading Initiatives (ETI) Base Code. These include;

  • That child labour will not be permitted;
  • That employment is freely chosen;
  • That freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining is respected;
  • That all working conditions are safe and hygienic.
  • That living wages are paid;
  • That working hours are not excessive;
  • That discrimination should never be permitted;
  • That regular employment is provided; and
  • That no harsh or inhumane treatment is allowed.

All Noni B vendors have signed up to our ethical sourcing policies and we will not knowingly work with any company that does not comply with the ETI base code.

WE BELIEVE IN TRANSPARENCY

We are currently reducing our supplier base to establish close and long term relationships with our vendors.

We are updating our register of factory names, along with review of audit reports that are required for each supplier that we are using.

We are constantly reviewing our Ethical and sustainability policies (encompassing environmental requirements) to ensure we are improving our initiatives to maintain our ethical focus.

We have clear policies in place that help to ensure a clear understanding from all our suppliers of the requirements for doing business with the Noni B Group Ltd.

WE'RE REDUCING PACKAGING AND PAPER

We know that every little bit counts to protect our environment, so we no longer include unnecessary paperwork with your order.

Instead all online orders now include a single slip, this contains all of the information you may require after receiving your purchase.

We are working towards reducing packaging in line with APCO (Australian Packaging Covenant Organisation) 2025 and hope to have this completed well before 2025

We welcome your feedback and are always happy to answer your questions, please contact at ethicalsourcing@nonibgroup.com.au
